Through the Big Bang

I will show how there exists a unique, deterministic, classical extension of cosmological solutions through the initial singularity. This construction is based on the existence of an autonomous system of equations that are 'hidden' within Einstein's equations. By using relational variables, working with observations that are constructed from within the universe, this system is uncovered, and gives the continuation through the Big Bang.

I will show how a very general class of physical theories has similar systems hidden within them, and discuss the implications for foundational problems in physics.
